What you need to pay with Float

A Visa or Mastercard credit cardAny Visa or Mastercard credit card works, including the one you already use.
Available credit for the full amountYour card needs enough available credit to cover the full purchase, not just the first instalment.
Not acceptedDebit cards, cheque cards and hybrid cards cannot be used with Float.

The reserve on your card, explained

When you check out with Float, your first instalment is charged to your card. The rest of the purchase amount is reserved on your card. A reserve is not a charge, but it does reduce your available credit until your plan is paid off. That is why your banking app may briefly show two amounts that add up to the full price.

How long a reserve stays on hold depends on your bank, and Float may renew it between instalments. Float emails you a reminder before each instalment and before any renewal, so keep enough available credit on your card for the rest of your plan.

Frequently asked questions

Is Float really interest-free and fee-free?

Yes. Float charges no interest and no fees, even if you miss a payment. Your normal credit card terms still apply, so your bank may charge interest if you don’t settle your credit card statement on time.

Do I need to apply or sign up?

No. Float uses your existing credit card, so there is no application form or registration. You only need your card details and enough available credit.

How many instalments can I choose?

At Padel Solution you can split your purchase into up to 6 monthly instalments. You choose the number when you check out.

What happens if an instalment fails?

Float retries the payment and gives you 7 days to make sure your card has enough available credit. If the instalment still cannot be collected after that, Float charges the reserve for the remaining balance and the instalment plan ends.

Do I still earn my credit card rewards?

Yes. Float uses your own credit card, so you keep earning your usual reward points.

What if I need to return or exchange something?

Returns and exchanges follow our normal returns and refunds policy. Once we approve a refund, we let Float know, and Float either adjusts your remaining instalments or refunds the money to your card.

Can I still pay upfront?

Of course. You can pay the full amount by card or Instant EFT through iKhokha, our secure payment provider.

Who do I contact with questions?
